Watch an animated construction time lapse for VW/Audi Manhattan’s joint facility.
Prime car dealership elements:
- Phased construction and logistics required to keep temporary showroom and service area operational throughout the project, including demolition, structural installation and façade modifications.
- The overall remodeled state-of-the-art facility spans seven floors and 260,000 square feet at 800 and 802 Eleventh Avenue on Manhattan’s West Side.
- The facility is divided into 40,000 sq. ft. of showroom space; 80,000 sq. ft. of service and retail space; and 140,000 sq. ft. of vehicle storage.
- Although it shares a roof and many facilities, Volkswagen and Audi each have their own brand showrooms and sales areas, among other amenities.
