Manage and coordinate residential and commercial construction projects from the conceptual development stage through final construction, including analyzing architects’ drawings, blueprints and specifications to determine engineering difficulties and building methodologies, under the close supervision of Senior Project Manager or Director of Operations. Under the guidance of a Senior Project Manager or Director of Operations, coordinate and confer with owners, engineers, architects, and subcontractors on work procedures and problems. Prepare logistics and sequencing planning. With the guidance of Senior Project Manager or Director of Operations, conduct analysis and prepare comprehensive studies, including dilapidation, structural integrity, and acoustic properties surveys. Prepare cost estimation, budgets, bids, and contracts. Prepare, develop and review reports, if necessary, for Senior Project Manager’s review and approval. Perform construction schedule development and coordinate all construction phases, including the hiring and overseeing of subcontractors, for Senior Project Manger’s review. Prepare periodic cost tracking reports. Assist in the development of schematic design and plan. Obtain all necessary permits and ensure compliance of all building, health and safety codes and regulations.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering;
12 months of experience as Junior or Assistant Project Manager, or Estimator;
12 months of experience reviewing and measuring drawings, blueprints and plans using AutoCAD;
12 months experience creating, maintaining and tracking project schedules using MS Project, Procure and Timberline, and compiling reports on project progress and compliance.
