How do you build a ground up Tier III Data Center, complete with a scalable engine plant, multiple chillers, engineered to withstand an F2 tornado, bomb blasts and extreme seismic events - and all this, on an accelerated schedule? Mission Critical: New York Board of Trade
J.T. Magen's complete renovation of of NYBOT's occupied trading floor - the worlds largest physical commodity futures exchange - was a mighty undertaking. Challenges included the installation of all new state-of-the-art infrastructure commodities trading pits, new telecommunications throughout, reconfiguration of existing electrical systems, installation of over 900 LCD monitors and a new massively redundant data center - all in an 8 week compressed schedule.
