Diabetes Research Institute Foundation
The Diabetes Research Institute Foundation was created in 1971 by a small group of parents of children with diabetes – parents committed to finding a cure for this devastating disease. Driven by hope and fueled by the need to end their children’s suffering, they banded together to support a promising research program at the University of Miami solely aimed at curing those living with diabetes. This is a noncompetitive walk to help fight breast cancer and provides hope to people facing the disease. Habitat for Humanity
J.T. Magen & Company participates and makes donations on behalf of the New York City Habitat for Humanity. This worthy charity builds in the five boroughs of New York City. Each year they complete approximately 25 houses so that they can provide decent, affordable housing for everyone. J.T. J.T. Magen & Company supports the Ronald McDonald House Charities, Inc. (RMHC) is various ways i.e. making donations and/or sponsoring a corporate event (Casino Night) at the Local Ronald McDonald House. Friends of St. Dominic’s is the fundraising division of Saint Dominic’s Home. J.T. Magen participates in charity events (Annual Dinner & Golf Outing) on an annual basis that supports Saint Dominic’s Home. The Tomorrow Children’s Fund is a privately-funded non-profit organization dedicated to easing the pain and speeding the healing of children with cancer and serious blood disorders. The CJ Foundation for SIDS is a national charitable organization dedicated to recognizing the special needs of the SIDS Community through funding SIDS research, support services and public awareness programs.
